Short answer: I just felt like it.

I landed in the tech industry after graduating from UT in 2008. Since my timing collided at the height of the housing market crash, I took my liberal arts degree and student loan debt, and navigated into the new world of Austin startups. Luckily, I landed an Office Manager > HR position at an SEO marketing company.

For the next decade, I searched endlessly; I knew my career wasn’t complete, but assumed a Masters degree would fill the void. Frustratingly, nothing felt quite right. After 5 years with the original startup, I found myself job hopping almost every year, seeking that ambiguous thing.

Fast-forward to 2019. I had decided to move to Vietnam and fulfill a college dream of teaching abroad, but the pandemic had other plans. I left my role as a CX Manager and moved back to Houston for 8 months, a period that changed everything. I found myself gravitating towards the “Woo” things, and I had never felt happier.

One day, tarot naturally showed up.

I began learning, and teaching myself daily. I carefully studied readers, learned the history, watched videos, started reading cards virtually for friends and family, and created YouTube videos that recently moved into TikTok. With that, I expanded into the event space in Austin, and am now building in Chicago.

I have tailored my tarot readings into delivering messages from a loving and supportive mindset. This does not mean sugar-coating challenging messages, but presenting the silver lining, which is always present. Life is about free will, and I believe that tarot acts as the validation or confirmation to aspects of your life that you already know, but might need a bit of a cheerleader. Let your experience unfold: wildly, unexpectedly, beautifully.
